American Indians are citizens of federally recognized Tribal Nations with specific treaty rights agreed upon with the United States government.
It's always important to learn from experts, and this case is no different.
CFT historical interpreters have years of experience educating, engaging and befriending people at various museums, parks, theaters, etc, all over the East Coast of the United States.
We take pride in speaking a perspective many have not heard.
We only train those who are citizens of federally recognized Tribes, American Indians to be those historical roles. So, if that's you, you have come to the right place.
However, the period of the 18th century was a diverse place with many different and interesting people living in Ohio, therefore, if you are not a Tribal citizen, we may have those opportunities as well.
We are ready to come meet your audience for a variety of educational settings as a panel of speakers, individual presenters, historical interpreters, open house hosts, or any number of ways we can collaborate to fit what works best for everyone... hint, hint virtual too.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of individuals and organizations to continue creating, performing, and educating.
Our single most important need is covering the costs of travel, food, and accommodations for the actors and interpreters.
Have a question or comment?
We'd love to hear from you!
Bridging our communities and exploring our complex history starts with a conversation!
