Why is it important to learn about our history from American Indian historical experts?

It's always important to learn from experts, and this case is no different.

CFT historical interpreters have years of experience educating, engaging and befriending people at various museums, parks, theaters, etc, all over the East Coast of the United States.

We take pride in speaking a perspective many have not heard.

Can anyone become a historical interpreter with CFT?

We only train those who are citizens of federally recognized Tribes, American Indians to be those historical roles.  So, if that's you, you have come to the right place.

However, the period of the 18th century was a diverse place with many different and interesting people living in Ohio, therefore, if you are not a Tribal citizen, we may have those opportunities as well.
