Stomping Freedom
1778, two years into the American Revolution, Shawnees and all Ohio Tribal Nations must face the reality that they are being invaded... invaded by a people who plan to steal this land so they may finance their war for freedom from British rule.
"What does it cost us for you to be free?"
The CFT Historical Interpretation team of experienced and dedicated professionals is committed to offering educational opportunities so we can build a better bridge between our communities.
The first of four films is a raw documentary about an educational event CFT presented at the historic site of a Shawnee town. The following three films were produced prior to CFT becoming an American Indian performing Arts organization. Each of these films are vignettes that honor exceptional African Americans who personified the struggle for freedom and equality.
Your contribution helps us to pay for the travel and accommodations of American Indian actors and interpreters as they come back East to do this work in their ancestral homelands. Thank You.
