About the Film

Director's Statement

As an homage to the dignity and pride of American Indian peoples who resisted the American Revolution, this film will show you a side of history that's not ever been seen before.

  • Filmed at historic sites, present day Greene and Clark Counties Ohio, the Shawnee homelands.
  • The characters speak the Shawnee language thanks to our language consultants, Eric and Aubree Wensman (Shawnee Tribe).
  • The dress of our cast is actual 18th century fashion, coordinated by our Shawnee historical expert, Jeremy Turner (Shawnee Tribe).
  • All the Native peoples' roles were cast with citizens of federally recognized Tribal nations.
